Stima investment is an investment company registered under the co operative act whose main mandate is to carry out investment activities using member’s funds

Stima Investment Cooperative (SIC) was formed in the year  2005 due to the constrains  that were experienced by the members of Stima Sacco in Establishing who will be the owners of a plot they had bought next to their office.

The Main contention was that upon leaving Society, the member does not enjoy the benefits of the building yet he/she contributed towards the building. In view of this, the Board of Stima Sacco approved formation of another Co operative which will have its own members and carry out investment functions only.

The main purpose of incorporation was to bridge the gap in Stima Sacco in terms of carrying out investment options which the Sacco could not invest in. The investment options will include:-

1.       Shares in at the bourse

2.       Investment in real Estate

3.       Investment in Fixed deposit

4.       Any other viable investment option

“To be the leader in the provision of high investment returns while ensuring the security of our members’ funds.”

MISSION STATEMENT

“To invest members’ funds in the most viable and secure ventures through prudent management of resources to secure maximum returns, growth and sustainability.”

MANAGEMENT

The society is managed by the Central Management Committee (CMC) with the assistance of a secretariat.

The Secretariat is headed by the General Manager and is assisted by the Accountant, IT Officer, Business Development Manager, Executive Assistant and three other staff.

 

MEMBERSHIP

The current membership is drawn from all energy sector companies including KPLC, KENGEN, GDC, KETRACO, REA, STIMA SACCO and any other company in the energy sector.
